Blue John Gin
Multi award winning gin, hand distilled in the Dark Peak of Derbyshire

Blue John is a rare and beautiful semi-precious gemstone lying deep beneath a wild, dramatic and beautiful landscape, found only in Castleton, in the Dark Peak of Derbyshire in the UK. We take the beauty and rarity of Blue John, and the area it lies within, as the inspiration for our small batch, hand crafted gin. Using locally foraged along with classic botanicals we capture the rarity of Blue John and the wild beauty of Derbyshire in each and every sip.

Within six months of launch we weredelighted to be honored with a Silver medal at the prestigious London Spirits Competition, and are thrilled that we have just been awarded a Silver at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2023, the world’s largest and most influential international spirit awards. Judging at this level is demanding and rigorous, and gaining a medal once again proves the high quality and consistency of our Derbyshire hand-crafted gin.

Blue John Gin has a juniper forward London Dry Gin profile with earthy dark notes of pine and orris root balanced with sweeter, floral notes from heather and rose. Together these give a complex, rich and intense gin, perfectly balanced with a lighter  citrus and floral finish.

Blue John Pink Gin has all the fabulous notes of the original, with the addition of raspberry and rose to give even more delicious floral and fragrant top notes.
